Whenever you’re travelling to a place you’ve never been to before. What do you happen to do? I’m guessing like myself you happen to find yourself planning your desired route to your end destination.
So why don’t we use the same logic, whenever we start our day. When you’re awake and aware of your surroundings take 5 minutes out for yourself (the same 5 minutes you would’ve used aimlessly scrolling through social media in the morning) during that, think about nothing else but you. Place yourself at the centre of your thoughts.
And decide in which direction do you wish to take your day. Simply pick a mantra that you’ll use to guide yourself through the day. The mantra doesn’t have to be anything too serious or anything in particular.
In choosing your personal mantra for the day, you’ll be guided as you bump into those difficult moments throughout the day.
