Poems | I was taught at home. I was home schooled. | Stewart Luwawa

I was taught at home. I was home schooled.

By Stewart Luwawa

Everything I know, I was taught at home. I was home schooled.

Mamma taught me patience.

Mamma taught me kindness.

Mamma taught me humility.

Mamma taught me understanding.

Mamma taught me tolerance.

Mamma taught me how to deal with the class bullies as a child, whilst dealing with the head teacher.

Mamma taught me to be better.

When I needed to learn something valuable, at home is where I learn my most important lessons.

Dad taught me discipline.

Dad taught me perseverance.

Dad taught me courage.

Dad taught me self belief.

Dad taught me how to laugh.

Dad taught me how to never take BULLSHIT from any MOTHERFUCKER.

Dad taught me how to be better.

After each lesson at home. I thank my Mamma & Dad, before walking through life’s struggles.
